Okunomatsu Brewery’s history dates to 1716, when a family of samurai who had been defeated in battle turned to sake production to make a living. The tradition is carried on today by the 19th generation of the family, President Joji Yusa. With over 300 years of experience, they make powerful sake with clarity and precision.
