"On the east side of Lake Neusiedl in the wine region of Burgenland, the soils drain well and the sun is plentiful. It's a perfect place for the native Blaufränkisch variety. Erich Sattler, who took over the winery from his father in 1999, takes full advantage of the area's unique climate, crafting terroir-driven wines. This bottle offers deep, earthy fruit with the slightest hint of pepper. The mouthfeel is rich and smoky, with great natural acidity lifting it up on the palate."
