"I love the aromas of peaches, wild roses and wild herbs of this very attractive and well-structured dry Mosel riesling. Excellent concentration on the medium-bodied palate, with stacks of herbal and spicy nuances in the long and polished finish. A cuvee of wines from the Himmelreich and Sonnenuhr sites of Zeltingen. Drink or hold."

"The 2023 Riesling Zeltinger Alte Reben trocken comes from the Schlossberg, Himmelreich and Sonnenuhr sites in Zeltingen, with vines averaging 60 years old. Subtle herbal savor offers yarrow and a touch of tansy. The palate is serene, concentrated and beautifully tangy, with citric brightness. This very restrained wine is full of direction, offering depth rather than strength and a long echo."

"Predominantly from the lower part of the Himmelreich and from up to 45-year-old vines, the 2022 Zeltinger Riesling trocken Alte Reben opens with a fine and flinty, very mineral and deep bouquet with ripe but delicate, rather warm and fine fruit aromas. Savory and saline on the palate, this is a pure, fine, very stimulating and crunchy structured Riesling with remarkable complexity and length. It's tight and wonderfully astringent as well as long and aromatic without being overly fruity. Needs time. 11.5% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine in November 2023."

"This smells like button mushrooms and tastes like fresh melon, taking a hint of late harvest ripeness into a vibratingly fresh, mineral-driven riesling. It shows some development, finishing with a note of dried hay, while overall this is savory and strong."
