• Corn whiskey produced by Prieto y Prieta in Oaxaca, Mexico
• Maestro Destilador Oscar Manuel
• Distilled from 100% Oaxacan heirloom white, red, purple, and yellow corn varieties
• Corn is milled using a mechanical hammer mill
• Open-air fermented using well water, yeast, and vinasse from previous distillations
• Double distilled in a hybrid pot and column still composed of copper and stainless steel
• Aged a minimum of 3 years in a combination of new French oak, ex–bourbon barrels, and barrels used to age Mexican sherry-style wine
• Roasted corn, chocolate cherry cordial candy, cinnamon, and almond on the nose precede a bold palate led by grilled corn—charred husk and all—and earthy, vegetal undertones of parsnip, spinach, and dark chocolate with lingering notes of creamed corn, cocoa powder, and green peppercorn on a dry and moreish finish

• Non-chill filtered; 43% ABV

Aged for three years before blending and bottling, the influence of the casks are seamlessly integrated, lending subtle notes of baking spice and red fruit without overshadowing the grain-forward complexity of the whiskey.
