"Lots of leesy baguette complexity, but this is very young. Very generous at the front of the medium-bodied palate, with yellow apple and ripe pear fruit, then the racy energy kicks in, making this hop, skip and jump into the distance. From biodynamically grown grapes. Vegan. Drink or hold."

"The 2023 Riesling Wachenheimer Bohlig P.C. has more active lime in the soil than any other of the estate's vineyards. Yeasty funk still dominates, but the palate is a picture of equanimity. The Riesling's fine, ripe acid flows like it was bedded on squishy marshmallows. Everything is rounded, smooth, buffered and serene. The juicy fruit appears later: bright pear and ripe lemon. (Bone-dry)"

"The 2023 Böhlig Wachenheim P.C. is clear, deep, intense and creamy on the nose that intertwines lactic with reductive but also ethereal aromas of crushed flint stones and (Mediterranean) herbs. Round, lush and elegant as well as remarkably fine on the palate, this full-bodied, dense, textural and juicy Riesling has fine tannin grip on the saline and savory finish. 12.5% stated alcohol. Diam 30 cork. Tasted at the domaine in January 2025."

"Racy, full of flavours like candied flowers. Really quite complex on the palate with a pungent finish. Sleek and well mannered with so much flavour that it carries the bone-dry, smouldering finish."

"Very smoky and chalky this reminds me of a Grand Cru Chablis, although it has the juiciness of a great dry riesling. Wonderful peach and apricot fruit on the compact mid-palate. Long, refined finish. From biodynamically grown grapes. Wild-fermented in large neutral oak. Vegan. Drink or hold."

"The 2022 Riesling Wachenheimer Böhlig P.C. was picked in the parcel that has active limestone missed in with the sandstone debris. Zesty, cool lemon sets the tone on the nose, but the palate seems bedded on the finest down feathers. This is so gentle yet so direct. What a lovely mouthfeel, lithe and smooth, so serene. (Bone-dry)"
