"Packaged in a 500-milliliter bottle, the Domaine Sigalas 2016 Santorini Vinsanto opens to a dark amber color and a glycerin-rich texture that is almost syrupy in feel. The blend is 75% Assyrtiko with 25% fragrant Aidani. The wine's residual sugar measures 250 grams per liter, and the total acidity is super high at 10 grams per liter. Those are extreme numbers, and your palate takes a moment or two to take it all in. As the wine opens in the glass, it offers cinnamon and dark chocolate shavings. After this 2016, the next vintage produced is 2020."
