"A delicate blend of white flowers, raw almonds, pears and sweet spice introduces the 2020 Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico Superiore Stefano Antonucci. It opens with a pretty inner sweetness and soothingly round textures as mineral-tinged orchard fruits slowly saturate. The 2022 leaves a youthful tension as it tugs at the cheeks, finishing remarkably fresh with a pleasant, tart tinge of lemon zest."

"This is a terrific expression of Verdicchio with ample depth and good complexity. The wine (with the bright yellow label) has a medium-rich texture with layers of preserved lemon, quince, saffron and spicy cumin. This pretty white has the structure and freshness to pair with cod or fried fish."
