Torrontes

The Dos Minas Torrontés comes from Finca El Retiro in Cafayate, Argentina near Salta. El Retiro is located at 1,650m above sea level and the vines are trained high in the Pergola method. The vineyard is 65-years-old and the grapes were hand-picked in 20kg bins the 3rd week of February. The winery employs carbonic maceration for 4 hours before a cold fermentation begins. This is a very floral wine and a great expression of the Torrontés grape. 1,000 cases produced.
