"This is as much a masterpiece of filigree as the stained glass windows of a Gothic cathedral. At least this is the first impression, then when you reach the wine's deep core you find gigantic concentration and off-the-scale wet stone minerality. What brilliance and delicacy this has in its almost endless finish. Vegan. Drink or hold."

"The 2023 Riesling Thörnicher Ritsch Auslese comes from an extremely steep site and was the first pick of the harvest at this estate. Made from grapes with botrytized berries, it has a relatively shy nose and plunges into candied lemon zest on the palate. It remains serene and slim, with concentration but no obvious botrytized tones. This wine stays clear as a bell and shines with lemony purity."
