Lightly aged just 2–3 months in ex–tequila casks from Casco Viejo’s own production, this reposado focuses more on allowing oxygen to integrate with the agave spirit than on altering the tequila with heavy oak influence. Just like its blanco sibling, this bottle is a workhorse that shows better neat than it has any need to, with a bright, fresh, vegetal heart that shines through its barrel notes like a sunbeam through trees.
