Inviting and deep, this tequila is a benchmark example of the classic Valles (or “lowlands”) profile. Dark fruits and cocoa nibs, rich toasted nuts, black peppercorns and a subtly floral counterpoint are all on full display here, yet never overshadowing the warmth and aromatic generosity of cooked agave, which softens and sweetens the whole experience like a caramel-coated blanket.
