Tasting Notes
For six generations, the Aceves Family of Arandas have been growing agave. Their single estate grown, 100% blue weber agave is grown at elevations over 7,000 feet in the “Golden Triangle” of Los Altos, the highland plateau of Jalisco. The piñas are mill-crushed and steamed for 24 hours before undergoing a 72-hour open-air fermentation. Finally, they are double distilled in a stainless steel pot still with copper components. Crystal clear in appearance, with luscious aromas of green pear, white pepper, and yellow bell pepper. A rich and silky mouthfeel generously offers up caramelized agave, peppercorn, hints of cinnamon and vanilla, and a distinct minerality on the finish. 40% ABV.
