- 100% Telti Kuruk, an indigenous varietal of Ukraine
- The vineyards are situated on a mixture of red clay and loam that provides great natural drainage
- Hand harvested and hand sorted
- Before fermentation commenced in stainless steel tanks, the grapes were cold-soaked for 12 hours and then pressed
- Each varietal is vinified separately in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks and blended as soon as fermentation is complete
- The final wine sits on its fine lees and is stirred periodically for 5 months

"Woody citrus aroma and flavour. Fresh, herbal, unusual. Like the Riesling, this has an added complexity thanks to a slightly chewy texture, which is a characteristic of the variety, apparently. (JH)"
