"The 2022 Garnatxa Sumoll is sourced from Montmell in Penedès. Only 29% of the wine underwent barrel aging for nine months. This reductive red features undergrowth and blood orange aromas, along with hints of dried flowers and herbs. Dry and fairly rich on the palate, it has a glycerol mouthfeel that wraps up the tannins. The Garnatxa nicely buffers the rusticity of Sumoll."

"The red 2022 Garnatxa - Sumoll was produced with a 50/50 blend of both grapes purchased from local growers. It has 12.7% alcohol, a pH of 3.39 and 5.4 grams of acidity. It fermented with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel, where it matured for nine months. It's primary, fruit-driven, aromatic, peachy, clean and expressive. The idea is to learn to make Sumoll and, in the long run, produce only Sumoll, not blend it with Garnacha. This has some dusty tannins and should stand up to food."
