"A gorgeous sparkling rosé that harkens to the Pierre Peters Arbane cuvée, the 2019 Estate Rose Sparkling Wine was made in the saignée method with Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from top sites within the Anderson Valley and the Santa Cruz Mountains. An attractive pale salmon/light peach color, it's floral and rounded with aromas of fresh baked croissant, fresh roses, and fresh strawberries and cream. With a pillowy mousse, this medium-bodied sparkling rosé is juicy with peachy fruit and has a generous, approachable texture. This lovely rosé will drink fantastically now or over the next 8-10 years. It spent 4 years on the lees with 4 grams per liter dosage."

"The 2019 Estate Rosé (Late Disgorged) is another fabulous sparkling wine from Rhys. It's a blend of 60% Pinot Noir (saignée) and 40% Chardonnay from Bearwallow and Mt. Pajaro, done mostly in neutral oak. Gorgeous aromatics lead into grapefruit, orange peel, mint and crushed rocks. This brisk, refreshing Rosé will be terrific as an aperitif but also has enough intensity to drink well at the dinner table. Pretty floral notes reappear on the finish, lending notable charm to round out the finish. As is the case with all these wines, the style is very much on the brisk side. This is the second disgorgement (April 2024), the same that Rhys uses for their magnums. Disgorged: April 23, 2024. Dosage is 4 grams per liter."
