• Double distilled in Japanese copper pot stills at Matsui’s Kurayoshi Distillery
• Non-age statement; rested in Sakura oak casks
• Proofed with the soft groundwater of Tottori Prefecture’s Mount Daisen
• An incredibly bright nose of strawberry and red apple is grounded by earthy aromas of minerals, wet clay, and young wood; the palate is fruity and floral, with apple notes leading subtle cacao, vanilla, cherry blossom, and oak tannins
• No added coloring
• Non-chill filtered; 43% ABV

Commonly known as cherry blossom, Sakura are Japanese ornamental cherry trees famous for their spectacular blooms of fragrant flower blossoms. The use of Sakura casks during the maturation process imparts a bright, floral quality to Matsui’s fruit-driven malt.
