• Non-age statement; aged in ex-bourbon barrels
• Proofed with the soft groundwater of Tottori Prefecture’s Mount Daisen
• Leather, charred oak, damp forest floor, and a touch of vanilla greet the nose before progressing to a light, oily palate of cherry tobacco, toasted cinnamon, and freshly cut white oak with burnt marshmallow, pine resin, and white pepper on the finish
• No added coloring
• Non-chill filtered; 43% ABV

Brimming with petrichor and piquant baking spice from nose to finish, Matsui Peated Single Malt Whisky exhibits ethereal layers of light peat smoke quite distinct from the more familiar iodine-heavy, briny Scotch profile.
