Tasting Notes

For this expression, ex-red wine casks were sourced from Israel’s finest wineries. The Mediterranean’s climate, variety of soil types, hot sunny days and cools nights bring a spicy and unique flavor to Israeli wine and, in turn, the casks used to age this single malt whisky in conjunction with ex-bourbon. Dried ginger, oak, and just a hint of chile de arbol powder on the nose lead to a floral and silky palate that leaves a pleasant spice on the tongue. 46% ABV, non-chill filtered, and Star-K Certified Kosher.
