The first winery to produce a single vineyard Assyrtiko, Sigalas ages this wine in tank intensely stirring the lees over an impressively long 18-month period. The result is a concentrated, complex and powerful Assyrtiko with a unique lingering persistency on the finish.

"Smells rather different from the Santorini Assyrtiko, more smoky/mineral and less fruity in the aroma. In the mouth, deep and chewy, masses of freshness and excellent intensity and length. Still a little bit disjointed and needs time. (JH)"
