"A well-composed, silky and bright red. Aromas of dark cherries, raspberries, roasted meat and some baking spices on the nose, following through to a medium body with fine tannins. There is a succulent, pulpy center palate with a silky texture toward the cherry-like finish. Drink or hold."

"Cassis, liquid violets, ground pepper, and an undeniable sense of minerality emerge from the 2022 Saint Joseph L'Olivaie, a medium to full-bodied, pure, beautifully balanced Saint Joseph that has fine tannins and a solid spine of acidity. It's beautifully done."

"The 2022 Saint-Joseph L'Olivaie originates from up to 80-year-old vines in the lieu-dit of the same name. Black cherry, blueberry, pencil shavings and discrete cedar elements are all pushed forward. Medium-bodied and juicy, the 2022 is shaping up to be an excellent, structured Saint-Joseph with the potential for extended bottle-aging."
