"The spicy 2022 Belondrade y Lurton was cropped from a warm and dry year when they had to harvest quite early. The nose shows no signs of excess ripeness; it feeels quite fresh and harmonious. It's elegant, surprisingly restrained, clean and with integrated oak, contained ripeness and 14% alcohol on the label. It's tasty and harmonious, finishing dry with a clean, long and chalky finish. It was bottled in July 2023."

"Extremely complex, sophisticated nose. Mouth-filling and creamy. You could confuse this with an absolutely tip-top white bordeaux, but perhaps this is better! Like fermented lemon drops. Really gorgeous flavours and texture. Utterly compelling. (JR) 14%"

"The 2021 Belondrade y Lurton is showing superb, pure, crystalline, clean, pure and expressive, delicate, elegant and subtle. The oak feels perfectly integrated despite being a very young wine. It has notes of white flowers, orange peel, hints of peach and dry hay and is quite varietal, with a faint bitter twist on the finish that, to me, is a textbook descriptor of the Verdejos from yesteryear. It has 13.8% alcohol and a pH of 3.8. 102,023 bottles, 2,533 magnums and some larger formats produced. It was bottled in July 2022."

"The 2021 Belondrade y Lurton, primarily Verdejo with a pinch of Viognier, hails from the DO Rueda. With a golden hue, aromas of lemon zest, asparagus and peaches unfold against a backdrop of toasted bread and flora. Creamy, ample and velvety on the palate, the well-calibrated acidity unleashes a flavorful finish. This nuanced Verdejo is nicely supported by oak aging. The 2021 Belondrade y Lurton, primarily Verdejo with a pinch of Viognier, hails from the DO Rueda.
