"Generous stone fruit, mango and pineapple aromas with a touch of fresh mint. Ripe and silky on the mouth-filling palate, all underlined by a layer of fine tannins that anchors this extravagance. Long dry finish with moderate acidity and a gentle minerality. Drink from release."

"The 2021 Riesling Oestricher Rosengarten Grosses Gewächs is grown on loam, loess and clay mixed with Tertiary limestone. The nose allows hints of ripe, juicy pear and top notes of pineapple. The palate is equally expressive, giving a richer, rounder style. There's linear and bright acidity, but it flows within the almost tropical, juicy generosity of the palate. A phenolic edge lends a lovely pithiness reminiscent of melon peel and radicchio. Perimeter walls still surround this site, making it even warmer than its proximity to the river already does. The 2021 is a generous wine from a generous site but made in a slender fashion. (Bone-dry)"
