• one of the coolest and windiest sites in Santa Barbara County
• soil is Betteravia Sandy Loam, and Tatomer’s section sits on a mild southwest facing hill
• cold air flowing off the Pacific Oceans allows for a long hang-time while avoiding too much Botrytis
• grapes selected for this vineyard designate are only the cleanest, innermost clusters on the vine, free of any rot or sun damage
• 12 hours of skin maceration, fermented and aged in stainless steel, blocked ML
• Aged for one year in the winery, and one year in bottle before release.
