"A tightly knit red, with a core of fine, chalky tannins enmeshed with a plush texture and a pretty flavor range of chopped black cherry and dried fig. "The 2021 Tinta del País Aster El Espino, sourced from Ribera del Duero and aged for 14 months in oak barrels, is a red-fruited wine. It presents sour cherry and plum notes, complemented by a faintly oaky layer. On the palate, it is dry and rich, flowing with a juicy and fairly taut mouthfeel and shaped by reactive tannins. This is an intense Ribera wine with a modern twist."
