"The more classical 2020 Torre Albéniz Reserva reminds me of some vintages of Vega Sicilia, with a combination of ripe berry fruit, spice, earth and a vegetal touch, developing notes of iodine and soy sauce with time in the glass. It's medium to full-bodied, with good ripeness, 14.6% alcohol and a fine-boned mouthfeel with fine tannins and a chalky finish. 53,308 bottles and some smaller and larger formats produced. It was bottled in December 2022."

"Tasted blind. A very modern style and profile with concentrated and very ripe black fruit, such as ripe blackberries and violets. Depth on the palate and many layers of flavour. Fine-grained, integrated tannins and very intense fruit flavours. A creamy, lactic profile that finishes with good precision. Real pleasure and an easy-going Ribera del Duero style. (FC) 15%"

"Grilled herbs, mineral and graphite to the blue and black fruit. Juicy and structured on the palate with chalky tannins and a long finish. From biodynamically grown grapes with Demeter certification. Drink or hold."
