"The fruit-driven and primary white 2022 Lapola has a nose of chamomile and dry herbs and a medium-bodied and soft palate with a fine-boned texture and purity of flavors. It's ripe at 14% alcohol but keeping very good freshness and acidity, reflected by a pH of 3.18 and 6.666 grams of acidity. In the warm 2022 vintage, it was produced with 86% Godello, 7% Albarino, 6% Dona Blanca and 1% Treixadura, fermented in 600-liter oak barrels with indigenous yeasts and matured partly in those 600-liter barrels and partly in 1,200- and 2,400-liter oak foudres with the lees for 10 months."

"The 2021 Lapola comes from Val do Bibei, Ribeira Sacra and aged for nine months in oak barrels. It is yellow in hue, with hints of soft mushrooms, apples and wild herbs alongside a touch of kumquat. Medium-bodied and creamy, with vibrant acidity, it tapers off with notes of fennel and oregano. The 2021 is energetic, flavorful and creamy, with a hint of subtle oak on the finish."

"It is a flinty and very delicate wine. It has a deep salinity and is very savoury. It clearly has a mineral expression and will grow in the bottle. "The white 2020 Lapola is a powerful expression of Ribeira Sacra with notes of hay and straw, ripe fruit, dry flowers and some spice, and it has a round palate with a fine texture, with pungent flavors and a dry finish. It's a blend of 85% Godello, 9% Albari¤o and the rest Do¤a Blanca and Treixadura matured in barrels and foudres and stabilized in concrete eggs."
