"The Domaine Sigalas 2022 Mavrotragano Mandilaria M? is a 50-50 blend of both these red grapes cultivated on the island of Santorini. The wine ages in large oak casks for one year and reveals punchy flavors of cherry, cassis, grilled watermelon and apple cider. The tannins are bitter, and it might help to serve this wine one or two degrees cooler than normal to make it more accessible. It is inherently food-friendly, especially with cheese-heavy dishes like lasagna or pizza."
