"Smells of jasmine tea, to begin with. Silver-tip tea and peaches. Something somehow silvery about this wine: the tang of an old pewter tine, the gleam of an old sugar spoon. Green peppercorns and purslane. Green walnuts. Very unusual. Linear horizontal bitterness forms a spine and defines the finish. (TC)"

"A zesty layer of ground spices underscores notes of nectarine, apricot and white cherry fruit, with lime blossom and biscuit accents. Backed by lemony acidity, this compact Champagne is plush and creamy through the smoke-tinged finish. Disgorged December 2023. Drink now through 2029. 20 cases imported."
