"A pure ruby color, the 2022 Pinot Noir Zio Tony Ranch is spicy and lifted on the nose with notes of ripe red cherries, lifted bright spices, a hint of white pepper, and wild fresh herbs. Medium-bodied, it displays a more linear approach through the palate, with a lovely level of refinement, fine tannins, a mouthwatering feel, and bright perfume on the finish. It's long on the palate and will have a good deal of longevity. Drink 2026-2040."

"Rich but restrained, this red is impressive, offering a core of mulled raspberry and cherry fruit infused liberally with a rooibos tea accent. A well-imbedded mineral spine provides an impressive counterpoint to the fruit on the finish. Drink now through 2037. —J.M."
