"Lightish cherry red. Even more marked by the whole bunch than the Tschuppen, but not excessive, if you like that fresh, leafy style. Light-bodied, super-fine tannins. Long and elegant in that stemmy style. Perhaps just slightly lean? (JH)"

"The 2021 Pinot Noir TR is from the Talrain parcel in Feuerbach that is located at 500 meters above sea level and based in yellow limestone topped with iron-rich clay. The wine opens with a pure, fresh and spicy, coolish and stony nose of ripe sour cherries. Lush but fresh and coolish, this is another spicy, nervy and straightforward Pinot Noir with a long, intense and tight, enormously spicy and salivating finish with a saline and crunchy aftertaste. This is an ambitious, silky textured and refreshing Pinot with tension, grip and character. 12% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine in late February 2024."
