"The 2022 Pinot Noir Sanford & Benedict is a delicate, ethereal wine. Strong earthy and savory inflections are front and center, while fruit is more pushed into the background. A healthy amount of stems (50%) works well for the style Graham Tatomer is going for."

"The 2022 Pinot Noir Sanford & Benedict Vineyard was fermented with 50% whole clusters and aged in one-year-old French oak. It exudes the classic aromatic signatures of this site, including orange peels, citrus blossoms and moss, with a weightless intensity and excellent clarity. The palate is graceful and ethereal, finishing delicately with hints of grainy tannins gently filled with juicy red fruits. I suspect that the challenges of the vintage have affected the harmony of the finish here, but the general attention to detail and precision is impressive."
