"Pale ruby with a purple hue. Dusty on the nose, with dark soil, mulch and darker fruits – black cherry and plum – than the Chehalem Origin bottling. Structured, spicy with sassafras and cola notes, and concentrated, with more length than the Chehalem. Juicy, with a long, spicy finish that shows a touch of oak. Lovely. (SCJ)"
