"The 2022 Pinot Noir La Encantada Vineyard is a wine of textural depth and intensity. Brooding in demeanor, the 2022 is one of the more virile wines in this range. Dark red cherry, cedar, tobacco, incense, dried herbs and menthol power through to the substantial finish. Clay/loam soils confer real vertical intensity."

"The most savory, earth-driven wine in the range, the 2022 Pinot Noir La Encantada Vineyard opens with a dark bouquet of black cherries, turned earth, underbrush, wet soil and cherry blossom top notes. The broad and expansive palate offers excellent saturation and power with notable purity. The finish calls back the sous-bois character of the nose with beautiful translucency, closing with persistent fine-grained tannins. This occupies a unique position in the Tyler roster and is particularly approachable in its youth, although I have no doubts about its aging potential."
