"A pretty, red-fruited nose of dried flowers, citrus peels and touches of underbrush drives the 2020 Alesia Pinot Noir Anderson Valley. The palate is light-bodied with a bright, succulent core that transitions to a vibrant finish with fine, drying tannins. Whether one opts for the Anderson Valley or Santa Cruz Mountains bottling, the Alesia label continues to provide immense value and great potential in the cellar."

"The 2018 Alesia Pinot Noir Anderson Valley is sourced exclusively from the Bearwallow Vineyard, perennially making for one of the best value propositions for California Pinot Noir. The nose is harmonious and nuanced, balancing bright red fruits, autumn leaves and dried roses. The palate is medium-bodied with admirable richness and precision, concluding on an upright, tensile finish that's beginning to show the integration of its tannins. This is in a beautiful place and should continue to be for the next 4-5 years."
