"The 2022 Weisser Burgunder opens with a generous, still yeasty yet also slightly saline and reductive bouquet of ripe white and yellow-fleshed fruits. Full-bodied, round and lush, this is a generous yet elegant and mouth-filling Pinot Blanc with youthful grip on the tight, finely bitter and good finish. 12% stated alcohol. Screw cap. Tasted at the domaine from lot L 08 24 in August 2024."

"The 2021 Weisser Burgunder is elegant and refined on the spicy and rather coolish bouquet with saline notes of finely crushed limestone and lemon zests. Enormously saline and savory on the palate and still challenging in its piquancy, this is an elegant and sur lie-textured Pinot Blanc that was aged on the lees for 20+ months. The acidity is fine but vital and interwoven with the mineral backbone of this persistent and highly serious white wine that develops remarkable length and intensity. 12% stated alcohol. Screw cap. Tasted from lot L 05 23 in February 2024."
