"The 2022 Verdelho mixes grapes from old and younger vines. It was fermented in stainless steel, with 20% in barrel. It's vibrant, tasty and salty. It comes from vines on volcanic lajido soils in Santa Lucia and Criação Velha, very close to the sea, and shows the more Atlantic side of the grape with freshness and salinity. The full clusters were pressed and the juice left to settle and ferment in stainless steel (80%) and barrels (20%), where it was kept with lees for eight months. It has 12.5% alcohol with a pH of 3.3 and 6.85 grams of acidity. 4,960 bottles produced. It was bottled in June 2023."
