"Succulent, complex and vibrant with stacks of ripe stone fruit and a delicate papaya note. I love the tension between richness and stony acidity on the concentrated palate. Very long pristine finish. This is delicious now, but has excellent potential. From a sub-site of the Lenchen with red iron-rich soil. Drink or hold."

"The 2022 Riesling Oestricher Lenchen Eiserberg 303 Spätlese is from a parcel from within the Lenchen, so-called due to its iron-rich, reddish slate and pebble content. It was made without any botrytis. Red apple and juiciness are immediately apparent, followed by Navel orange aromatics, still with the faintest but delicious crackle of flinty reduction. The palate is sweet, juicy, smooth and balanced, pitching at ripe sweetness without any heaviness. Bright, smooth, sweet and utterly fluid. The finish is orange-zesty, lasting and has the sweetness of ripe citrus. Nineg/L of acidity are pitched against 85g/L of sweetness. (Sweet)"

"This very pure Rheingau riesling Spatlese has fabulous aromas of peaches, mangoes and passion fruit. Great concentration and precision, and the balance of succulence and vitality are spot-on in the long, exotic finish. Drink or hold."

"A rich, lush and utterly delicious version that features unctuous notes of apricot paste and guava flecked with dried lime peel and potpourri. Decidedly sweet in style, with impressive purity and a silky feel. Stays refined and light on its feet despite the considerable sweetness. Built for the cellar. Drink now through 2035.—K.B."
