"This is an extremely fresh and bright riesling Auslese with fantastic juiciness and brilliance. Restrained creaminess on the concentrated mid-palate, but the finish is so vibrant that you'd have to hate sweet white wine not be delighted by this beauty. Drink or hold."

"The 2023 Riesling Niederhäuser Hermannshöhle Auslese Junior carries this soubriquet because this is the first wine Jakob Schneider Junior ever made at home at age 16. The Auslesen from this site have carried this name since. Dried white currant and sultana play on the nose. The botrytis influence is clear on the palate, with honeyed notions of really sweet Mirabelle compote, absolutely edged with candied lemon and fresh lemon zest. This has around 140 g/L of residual sweetness with 10.6 g/L of acidity and presents a wonderful thrill. (Sweet)"
