"This cool and bright red has aromas of licorice, red cherries, nutmeg and boysenberries. It's medium-bodied, sleek and elegant, with lightly chalky tannins and a mineral freshness. Drink or hold."

"With a noble reduction, the 2023 Morgon Corcelette opens with aromas of candied berries, lilacs, dried rose petals, sous-bois, dark chocolate and spice. Bold and voluminous on the attack, the wine reveals a medium to full body with a layered mid-palate. Smooth yet tightly woven tannins, reminiscent of sandstone, impart a dynamic sense of tension, carrying through to a lingering sea-salt-tinged finish. This wine holds great promise and will benefit from a few years in bottle to unlock further fluidity."

"Bright mid ruby. Singing raspberry and violets on the nose. Very ripe fruit on the palate, but kept in check by zippy, fresh acidity. The tannins are well integrated, soft and melted. There's plenty of ageing potential here. Just a touch of heat on the finish. (MH)"

"Blueberries, cassis and plums on the nose alongside some licorice. Focused and nicely filled in with a medium body, broad tannins and a dark-fruited finish. Drink or hold."
