"Intense in its citrus color and savory, well-concentrated lemon and late-harvested fruit aromas on the nose, the 2023 Meddersheim Eisendell auf der Südseite Riesling Trocken is intense yet filigreed on the palate and provided with a savory-saline acidity that carries the wine on a highway to a long, concentrated and aromatic finish with ripe and lush stone fruit aromas and the piquancy of the Eisdell soils (quartzite sandstone). It's quite sharp at this stage, but after some years, it surely will be irresistible. 11.5% stated alcohol. Screw cap. Tasted in September 2024."
