"This masterpiece of precision is cool and delicate with terrific understated power and depth. I love the aromas of white flowers and leaves dripping after a thunderstorm. And the elegance on the crystalline palate is breathtaking. What an exciting interplay of ripeness and coolness in the dazzling finish. From vines planted in 1902. Drink or hold."

"The 2023 Riesling Longuicher Maximin Herrenberg Grosses Gewächs comes from vines planted on their own roots in 1902, from a parcel above the Alte Reben parcel. The nose almost has an overtone of curly parsley within its creamy citrus vibe, aided by pepper and more air brings peach. The palate offers fill, a touch of hazelnut, exquisite concentration and absolute contour provided by pure lemon peel."
