"Brimming with ripe peaches, wildflowers and herbs, this is extroverted for a young dry Mosel riesling. What a juicy and joyful wine it is on the medium-bodied palate. At once intensely spicy and very well structured in the long, expressive finish. Vegan. Drink or hold."

"The 2023 Riesling Longuicher Maximin Herrenberg 1896 Alte Reben comes from own-rooted vines planted in 1896 on red slate at the lowest part of the Mosel slope. Red apple juiciness combines with a savory tone that veers into lovage and has a creamy edge. The creamy palate features a salty, white pepper undertow alongside fine zest, filling every atom of its liquid with full flavors on a concentrated, streamlined body framed entirely by pure zest."
