Released in batches with the batch number shown on the back label, ‘The Story of the Spaniard’ is a tribute to Sherry’s broad spectrum of styles. This first release is comprised of 48% whiskies that have been aged in ex-sherry casks and 25% in ex-Spanish red wine casks. This whisky is full, soft, and sumptuous on the palate with flavors of citrus peel and pears poached in red wine and spices; ideal for late evening sipping or stirring in a cocktail. 43% ABV
