• 16.9% The Glen Moray Distillery single malt aged in first fill bourbon barrels
• 9.3% The Balmenach Distillery single malt aged in first fill bourbon barrels
• Grounded in fruity malt and spicy clove and ginger with dark chocolate, toffee, baked apple with cinnamon, and rich vanilla
• No added coloring
• Non-chill filtered; 46% ABV

Working with cooperages in both France and Scotland, Compass Box has developed custom hybrid oak casks that impart rich, bold spice notes to its Highland malt blend, resulting in an ideal after-dinner sipper and a perfect accompaniment to cheese, chocolate, or spice cakes.

Tasting Notes

Matured using custom-made casks with French oak for the heads and American oak for the bodies. ‘The Spice Tree’ is a rich, intense malt whisky redolent of cardamom, clove, ginger, and hints of cocoa blended from three different Highland single malt whiskies aged in first-fill and refill American oak before re-casking in these custom casks that were toasted to varying levels. 46% ABV
