"Bright yellow in color, the NV Champagne Lieu Dit Brisefer Extra Brut is equal parts Meunier and Pinot Noir and offers purity, clarity, and focus on the nose, with notes of Amarena cherries, floral perfume, quinine, toasty oak, and iodine. Filling the palate with a savory feel, it offers nuttiness and saltiness and is more sherry-like in its application. (It would be great with spiced nuts.) Its mousse fills the palate and adds to the spice of the wine. Drink it over the next 10 years, although it would probably be better to give this more time to come together and harmonize. Disgorged April 2022; 3 grams per liter dosage."

"The NV Extra-Brut Perpetual Reserve Lieu Dit Brisefer (2017 base), from Chardonnay vines planted in 1947, offers striking complexity and nuance, qualities further amplified by the perpetual reserve that dates back to 2013. Readers will find an intensely savory, earthy Chardonnay endowed with tons of character. This distinctive Blanc de Blancs has so much to offer. There's a bit of oak character, but not enough to be distracting. Dosage is 3 grams per liter. Disgorged: April, 2022."
