"A standout in Tesco's Californiana line-up (along with the orange and white wines under the same label), this is mainly Grenache – a higher proportion than in the previous vintage – with Syrah, Cinsault and a dash of Durif making up the balance. It's an unoaked wine, aged on lees in stainless steel tanks for around 10 months before bottling. Lots of bright and chewy red berry fruit here, baking spice and some rose florality. Complexity and concentration, but worn lightly."
