"Juan Bello is a paraje in the village of Masdache on a volcanic mountain with traditional holes planted with centenary vines of Malvasía Volcánica with Listán Blanco and Diego grapes. The 2023 Juan Bello has 13.7% alcohol, a pH of 3.45 and 5.06 acidity, and some barrels went through malolactic fermentation, giving it a more mellow profile. All the wines have very integrated oak, making it unnoticeable, and they have improved the quality of their barrels, some Austrian and Italian 500-liter ones that have been used with their wines before, and that's noticeable. The wine is very pale, elegant, sleek and polished, clean, precise and with a saltier finish than other years. 1,950 bottles were filled in May 2024."
