"The 2021 Riesling Kostheimer Weiss Erd Grosses Gewächs is a very warm site, bought in 1996 but not vinified as a single vineyard until 2008. The nose has citric highlights but does not want to give away much. The juiciness of Mirabelle and ripe Reine Claude plum, both laced with lemon, gives this its immense flow and freshness. An intense saltiness joins in with the zesty 2021 freshness and makes this utterly mouthwatering, yet all is buffered, bedded on yeast. (Bone-dry)"
