"Light crimson. Inviting but not extreme aroma of wild strawberry and tangy red cherry, becoming more and more fragrant and inviting as it opens in the glass. Juicy, mouth-watering and vibrant fruit with the lightest of tannins † though they are sufficient for balance † and immense freshness without being overly acidic. Delicious and with the intensity you can only seem to get from old vines. The oak is extremely subtle and well integrated adding roundness and body without obvious oak flavour. Dangerously easy to drink. I think it will age well but why wait? (JH)"
