• Single cask single malt Scotch whisky produced by Kilchoman Distillery in Islay, Scotland, in collaboration with ImpEx Beverages
• Malted barley peated to 50ppm
• 85–90-hour fermentation
• Twice distilled in Forsyths copper pot stills
• Aged 9 years; aged 7 years in an ex–bourbon barrel and then 2 years in an ex–Sauternes wine cask
• Orange zest, ashy peat, and dried kelp on the nose precede a buttery palate of vanilla, lemon peel, stewed nectarine, and honey with rounded, earthy peat smoke throughout
• No added coloring
• Non-chill filtered; bottled at a cask strength of 55.9% ABV

The ImpEx Cask Evolution series consists of limited release collaborations with the Kilchoman Distillery that demonstrate the influence of different cask finishes. For this release, Sauternes wine casks from Bordeaux perfectly complement the subtle fruitiness of Kilchoman whiskies, marrying fresh vanilla, citrus, and maritime peat smoke with waves of white grape and tropical fruit. This single cask single malt is a US exclusive with only 229 bottles!
